After graduating from Keio University and Graduate School of Business Administration at Keio University (Keio Business School MBA), Yuko Hoga engaged in strategy consulting of domestic and foreign major corporations at Price Waterhouse Consultants and involved in Japan market entry strategy projects of foreign firms. She then established a consulting office to provide consulting services for major companies such as electrical appliance makers, industrial machinery makers and insurance companies on their entry into the healthcare industry and supported listed companies’ strategic entry into new business. She is specialized in medical, health-related, nursing care and healthcare industries. She successively held the posts of director of a venture company and executive officer of a healthcare business company. Visiting professor at Shobi University faculty of policy management (2010-2016). She conducted a research on business growth and M&A (University of Tsukuba Graduate School of Business Sciences) and a research on effectiveness of vigorous business growth strategy by outside investment (M&A) from a perspective of diversification.
