is Professor of Operations Management and the Driehaus Fellow at DePaul University, Chicago, USA. He is also an affiliate professor at the Kedge School of Business, Bordeaux, France. His research focuses on outsourcing and supply chain management. He has authored over 40 research articles. His articles were awarded several prestigious research honors, such as the Best Paper in Journal of Operations Management, the Stan Hardy Award, the APICS Best Paper Award, and the Second Place of POMS’ Wickham Skinner Best Paper Award. His cases were rewarded the Honorable Mention three times in a row by DSI’s Best Case Competition and published in teaching/education journals or textbooks.He received his BEng degree from the Nanjing Institute of Telecommunication Engineering in 1986, MBA degree from the University of Southern California in 2001, and PhD degree in Operations Management from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2004.
