On May 26th, NUCB Business School launched the "Insights from Industry Leaders" webinar series, one of two series of open and free webinars being held through June and July. The first session, entitled "Communication and Perception in Management," was announced late last week but quickly received 40 registrations from 8 different countries.
Representing Weber Shandwick Japan, General Manager Campbell Hanley spoke about PR strategy in an evolving media landscape and the challenges of doing PR work in Japan and other countries.
Attendees were shown case studies about Coca-Cola and Kentucky Fried Chicken selected by Hanley as his favorite examples of effective and ineffective PR in today's world. The public relations veteran emphasized that a good PR strategy "never lets a good crisis go to waste."
