Courses offered in the Global Leader Program that will enhance your understanding of Asian business practices include - Service Design, Competing in Emerging Markets, Managing in New Asia, Entrepreneurship and Family Business and International Entrepreneurship. Within these courses, students find a wealth of valuable cases on companies situated in Japan or Asia which have faced serious management dilemmas that needed critical thinking and a logical approach to build and sustain a successful position.
Students in the Global Leader Program come from all over the world. Typical MBA students include international students and a growing number of Japanese domestic applicants who work while studying. On the other hand, MSc in Management students are typically second generation of a family firm or SME who look to develop their skills and relationships in Japan for the improvement of their own organization.
The context of business in Asia is felt throughout the Global Leader Program curriculum. With over thirty courses offered as both part-time (weekend only courses targeting employed students) and full-time (weekday intensive courses targeting international and exchange students), all courses aim to include an element of understanding the business context in Asia and Japan.
