Abstract This case focuses on the engagement of the Japanese aerospace industry with one of the world’s largest and the most diversified aerospace company to bring success to a new airplane program. The program launched and incorporated many of the latest technologies; that were once in the dreams of aerospace engineers. The performance of new aircraft that are demanded by customers requires a great deal of effort on the part of employees who are working behind the scene. This case also focuses on the human workforce and how people from different fields and nationalities work together, as one to make an aerospace company that interfaces with of the global supply chain in an optimize, true, and diverse fashion.
