In celebration of the acquisition of EQUIS and the achievement of Japan's first Triple Crown as one of the world's top 100 business schools, a session on business planning was held on November 2, 2011, where Chancellor Kurimoto, Professor Iwasawa, and Associate Professor Koyama spoke about the power of business planning and business promotion. The Triple Crown was said to be "impossible in Japan" by industry insiders.
Through this session, the participants were able to look back on the path to this accomplishment, which could not have been achieved without conceptual and practical skills. As this session was held online late at night, a total of 264 current and former students of the university participated. The session provided an opportunity to talk about the background of NUCB Business School and to experience the "Frontier Spirit" that is our founding spirit.
This is one of the study groups organized by the faculty, current students and alumni of our school. Under the leadership of Associate Professor Ryusuke Koyama, who specializes in business model innovation and concept creation, we are working on business concepts and creating concrete projects with the mission of solving the problems facing Japan and the world by developing and producing human resources who can conceive of businesses.
