10月22日（土）に開講されたGLP: Leadership & Organizational Behavior (Prof. Stefan Lippert)では、ゲストスピーカーとして、オーウェンスコーニングジャパンCEO佐藤明彦氏をお招きしました。

オーウェンスコーニングは、住宅や商業ビル建材、複合材システム用のガラス繊維強化材および建築材料メーカーとして世界をリードする米国企業です。その子会社、オーウェンスコーニングジャパンで日本人取締役としてご活躍されている佐藤氏が、日本と米国での「リーダーシップと組織行動」の違いについて、また今後リーダーとしてどう社会に対応していくべきかなど、二つの文化の中で立場・環境により柔軟に対応されてきたご自身の経験を基にお話し下さいました。

On the 22nd of October, CEO of Owens-Corning Japan, Mr. Akihiko SATO was invited as a guest speaker of the GLP course, Leadership & Organizational Behavior by Prof. Stefan Lippert.

Owens-Corning is the world's largest producer of fiberglass, used in the electronics, automotive and chemical industry.
Mr. SATO talked about "Leadership and Organizational Behavior in Japan and America - Experiences of a Japanese executive at an American firm in Japan".
In particular, he discussed how the extreme differences between Japanese and American business leadership in terms of style, values, and personalities, can be overcome and actually turned into an effective market strategy.
