Biography
Professor Tadao Onaka graduated from the University of Tokyo School of Nuclear Engineering, and obtained a master's degree from Carnegie Mellon University Business School in 1983. He worked in the atomic energy, automotive, and information industry at Mitsubishi Corporation, and was assigned as sales director for the Mitsubishi Motors in the U.S. in charge of logistics. His career subsequently consisted of roles as Manager of the Information System Division at GE Yokogawa Medical Systems, Director at PriceWaterhouseCoopers Consulting, Lecturer of organizational behavior and leadership at Globis Business School, and CEO of Hewitt Associates Japan. Since 2004, he has been the CEO and Managing Director of Global Management Networks Co., Ltd., which offers management development and executive coaching. Professor Onaka has taught at NUCB Business School since April 2009 and has written books on various topics related to MBA methods and values, leadership, and corporate management development.
