The Freelance Network, organized by NUCB Business School Dean and specialist in innovation and entrepreneurship Dr. Yasutomi Kitahara, hosts participants from inside and outside the School who engage in freelance work and side jobs. The primary focus of the network is to conduct research relevant to freelance workers and analyze the market to explore current trends and future possibilities for working freelance with a better quality of life. Lifestyles are becoming increasingly diversified with the normalization of telework, work-cations, and multi-location living; the Freelance Network provides a space for the forming and maintaining of connections outside of the traditional organization.
