Accreditations & Networks

When researching business schools, one of the first steps is understanding which institutions have international accreditation. Case Method

All classes are taught through the Case Method, using the latest business cases. These business cases paint a vivid picture of the management issues faced by real companies on a daily basis. Course participants vicariously experience the situation from a manager’s perspective as they read the case and participate in a series of class discussions. Through the wide scale of experiences represented by several hundred cases, students are given first hand experience in decision making from a manager’s standpoint, allowing them to further advance their practical management skills.

Analytical skills, theoretical thinking, presentation skills, and leadership are only a handful of the extensive range of skills required in management. At our school, students cultivate these abilities through repetition of the 3-step process: self-study, group discussion, and class discussion.

Faculty

More than 90% of our faculty members are practitioners who have been active on the front lines of business. They have passed a number of strict international standards such as academic and practical experience related to their teaching fields. Unlike unidirectional academic lectures for training researchers, we provide practical learning directly related to business for working professionals, reflecting the experience and knowledge gained from international business through participant-centered case method learning.

Support for Learning at Top Business Schools

There is a prevailing misconception that working professionals can't study abroad while fulfilling their professional duties. However, our school has made this possible by establishing its “Support System for the Overseas Training of Working Professionals." Our school created the system in 2005 in cooperation with Harvard Business School, the MIT Sloan School of Management, IMD Business School, and the Kellogg School of Management to provide short-term study abroad opportunities, ranging from 3 to 7 days in length, enabling an enriching learning experience with a minimum time commitment. There are also options for participants, such as student grants and credit recognition applicable toward NUCB Business School programs.

Overseas Partner School Programs Included in Tuition

Our school has partnerships with over 170 prestigious business schools worldwide, giving students the opportunity to participate in exchange programs starting at a length of 60 days. All of our partner institutions are not only highly reputed in their respective regions, but also rank at the top of world MBA rankings and hold international accreditation. No additional tuition fee is required for participation in partner school programs, and scholarships are granted to nominees meeting qualification requirements. A total of up to 10 credits can be recognized and transferred toward the completion of your program at NUCB Business School.

Double Degree Program

The Double Degree Program is an advanced degree program in which students study for a year each at both NUCB Business School and a partner business school. Graduates obtain master’s degrees from both business schools in a period of two years. Students participating in this program are only required to pay the tuition fee for the two-year program at our school.
