Harvard-Style Case Method

The case method practiced in MBA education was born over 100 years ago at Harvard Business School in 1922. Enabling participants in MBA courses to simulate the experiences of protagonists described in actual business situations leading to game-changing decisions, participant-centered case method teaching transforms the classroom into a learning community, sharing the common goal of broadening world views and perspectives as practitioners through case-based, class-wide discussions and debate. All classes at NUCB Business School are taught using the case method.

MBA education develops leaders who take action. Even with the transitory nature of business, leaders are still expected to make the right decisions, despite uncertain environments and insufficient information. Leaders need to have the ability to not only determine the correct solutions, but also to communicate advantages convincingly, and nurture their teams to harness their passion and synergy.
