In the PreMBA program, participants learn the basic knowledge and skills required for the MBA throughout the year. There are nine themes in the annual curriculum to cover the knowledge and skills necessary for business: finance, accounting, marketing, leadership, management, creative thinking, innovation, and global communication. A theme consists of 2 - 4 subjects, and participants can build knowledge efficiently by learning them in order. By establishing a firm foundation of management knowledge through the PreMBA, those who have not graduated from a bachelor’s program can proceed into a master’s degree program at the NUCB Business School, towards an MBA or a degree in tax accountancy.
PreMBA has classes in 30 subjects following 9 themes open throughout a year. There are classes for obtaining basic theories and knowledge, and classes conducted entirely in English, for gaining knowledge of how business is conducted at the international level. Participants can choose from a wide variety of subjects according to their purpose and schedule. As the program is delivered in an interactive live online format, those who live abroad or far from campuses can take these courses. Working adults are busy, and need to make an effort to learn at business school. We provide a flexible environment for those students to allow them to optimize their efficiency, regardless of temporal and spatial limitations.
If you look at the websites of business schools around the world, you will notice frequent mentions of the MBA, Executive Education, and Open Enrollment programs. Executive Education programs offer lifelong education for professionals of all stripes. The goal of this program is not to obtain an MBA, but rather to provide non-degree management education that focuses on areas of interest and strengthens one's own objectives. The popularity of such programs around the world is attributable to their flexibility, allowing students to control their level of commitment while benefiting from ongoing MBA education developed by leading business schools.
The advantage of such non-degree open programs is that the conditions for participation make them widely open to the public, and students can take classes on topics of interest from MBA professors without having to go through an admissions process. Participants in open programs include those who are already in corporate management roles, planning to take over a family business, or are taking courses as part of their corporate training. The program is geared towards professionals such as doctors, lawyers, and accountants who do not necessarily require degrees, those who are unable to commit to the two years of study required to obtain an MBA, and those who prefer the convenience of study online.
Since what we learn in class is directly applicable to practical work, the confidence we gain in class is directly linked to our confidence in practice.
