NUCB Business School
Nagoya University of Commerce and Business, the first-generation private university in Japan, was founded in 1953 by Yuichi Kurimoto, the first Japanese to graduate from the University of Alberta in 1930 and the founder of the Kurimoto Educational Institute (KEI). Over the last 90 years, the university has become known worldwide as a premier educational institution. The KEI established its Business School in 1990 and launched graduate-level educational programs to develop skilled and innovative managers.
In 2003, NUCB Business School launched the first EMBA program in Japan. In accordance with the fundamental principles of pragmatic thinking espoused by Yuichi Kurimoto, NUCB Business School educates distinguished leaders who take the initiative to reform established business activities and start new businesses to contribute to the advancement of society.

Our mission is to educate innovative and ethical leaders who possess a Frontier Spirit and to create knowledge that advances business and society. Our graduate students will have the ability to bridge the gap between new Asia and the rest of the world.

Organization Structure
NUCB Business School is a private, non-profit management school established by the Kurimoto Educational Institute (KEI) in 1990. KEI is a legally incorporated educational institution that manages four different entities - a graduate school, an undergraduate school, an international boarding high school, and an international junior and senior high school as indicated below.
