Dan Qin

Biography

Dr. Dan Qin joined NUCB Business School in 2020 after working as a Research Associate at the School of Political Science and Economics at Waseda University, and as an Associate Professor at Tohoku University. He received a Ph.D. in Economics from Waseda University. His principal research interests lie in the fields of decision theory and behavioral economics. He has been involved in a number of research grants in behavioral economics, both privately funded and government-funded through the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. He also received a Bachelor’s degree in information technology from Southwest Jiaotong University in China, and a Master’s degree in financial engineering from the China University of Mining & Technology.
