Haruo Takagi

Biography

Dr. Takagi joined NUCB Business School as a full professor in 2018 and was appointed as the Chair of Center for Case Teaching & Learning. He received a D.B.A. from Harvard Business School, and both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from Keio University. Dr. Takagi spent his academic career as a scholar at Keio Business School from 1978 to 2014, and is the foremost expert in case method education in Japan. His research includes organizational behavior, leadership, and case method education, and his publications include The Flaw in Japanese Management as well as various contributions to Japanese management journals.
