MSc in Management

Developing leadership ability by defining ambition

The MSc in Management program is for recent graduates and young professionals seeking a managerial perspective in order to deliver results that distinguishes them from their peers. All classes utilize the latest business cases as course materials, discussing and resolving these situations from the viewpoint of management and delivering valuable practical experience.

In classes, participants discuss answers to the issues by incorporating the opinions of teachers and classmates through group sessions and class discussions, based on their own consideration of the issues raised in the preparation. By repeated discussion, you will acquire management judgment and deep analytical skills, based on a range of perspectives. The program systematically and comprehensively covers everything from the basics to their more complex applications, and synthesizes learning in the form of an original case demonstrating mastery of management.

  • STEP1

Individual preparation: Read and comprehend the case and formulate a hypothesis

The casebook will be distributed electronically to students two weeks before the class. Read the cases, considering the success factors of the company and the reasons for the struggle. By referring to the textbooks and recommended books presented by the faculty members, complete your own thoughts (hypothesis) regarding the assignments, as a preliminary task in advance of the lecture.

  • STEP2

Group discussions: Repeat discussions and gather opinions

Start with a group session. A small number of participants, designated in advance, gather in a group room to exchange opinions on issues and share their thoughts. By expressing various opinions under the group leader, you can organize your thoughts and deepen your understanding of the case.

  • STEP3

General discussion: Pursuing the best management decisions in class

Discussions will be held through voting and raising hands, under facilitation by faculty, in answer to questions such as "this company's project seems likely to fail, but is it okay to proceed as it is? Do you agree / disagree?". By comparing and colliding opinions from various perspectives, a deeper consideration will develop. The ultimate goal of the case method is not to draw any single conclusion in the class, consider how you may act in the future should you encounter a situation like the one depicted in the case.

  • Case Method

Management requires logical thinking, creativity, and leadership. Participants will enhance their management attitude and experience by reliving more than 200 cases through discussions over two years.
