Double Degree Program

Developing Leaders for Digital Transformation:
Data science expertise to expand your MBA

Our commitment to equipping future leaders of the business community through the era of digital transformation and beyond has led to the establishment of a program designed to break down the barriers between general management education and advanced knowledge for human resources that will lead society into the future. Possessing not only advanced management skills, but also skills in mathematics, data science, and AI applied by a global mindset, successful candidates of this program will be key to the realization of 4IR, the 4th Industrial Revolution.

Approved by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) in 2022, the X-Program establishes a double degree system bringing participants from a master's program at our school to an overseas partner university with a master's program in data science.

Upon completion of the program, both an MBA from NUCB Business School and a master's degree in data science (awarded by the partner university) will be granted simultaneously.

Introducing the "Data Science MBA" double degree program

This is a system that enables students studying at our school to acquire not only advanced knowledge, skills, and practical abilities in the field of management, but also knowledge and skills in mathematics, data science, and AI through a double degree arrangement with a selection of overseas partner schools. We are excited to announce that our school is developing new partnerships with Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business and John Hopkins University's Carey Business School to offer their programs in addition to those of five of our partner schools in Europe already offering master's degree programs in the fields of data science and AI to eligible participants.
