Abstract
The NBA(National Basketball Association) is the major professional basketball league in North America. National Basketball Association is a global business which has tentacles in fashion industry, broadcasting industry, fund raising industry, and even nonprofit organizations internationally. National Basketball Association manages to do the best in North America, Europe, and China. There are reasons for NBA to be successful in different regions in the world, and likewise. However, same in Asia, Japan has always been a hard nut to crack. NBA is not broadcasted in Japanese. As National Basketball Association expands their market into different regions, they encounter different constraints and possibilities. Whether it's because of culture shock, time zone difference, or rivals, National Basketball Association took different actions to fit in, rearrange, or counteract to maintain its legacy.
