Kindai University Hospital 2017
Abstract
The clinical engineering department of Kindai University Hospital has drastically revolutionized the organization in the past ten years. While a number of the revolutions of the department are attributed to changes of the external environment, the clinical engineering department tries to improve its organizational capacity by consolidating organizations, which are subdivided each time when they implement a policy for resolving problems, into an organization. However, because of sectionalism that the professional occupation tends to fall into, there is a risk that the integrated organization relapses into the previous state. This is a case that the author, Takada, who is a supervisor of the clinical engineering department, looks both for the next leader and for the organization that workers can actively make a revolution not by direct reforming but by innovating the internal environment.
