Biography
Professor Sung Soo (Eric) Kim, Ph.D., is a global authority in AI Strategy for Business, with extensive experience across academia, industry, and the public sector. As a management scholar, data scientist, and entrepreneur, he is recognized for his expertise in AI Strategy, Business Analytics, and M&A.
In academia, he serves as a Visiting Professor at NUCB Business School; a Special Guest Professor at the Business School of Keio University; an Adjunct Professor at the Graduate School of Business at Yonsei University; and a Visiting Professor at the College of Management at National Taiwan University. He pioneered “AI Strategy for Business” courses across Asia, including Japan, Korea, and Taiwan.
Professor Kim has advised on significant M&A transactions with top global Private Equity Funds, high-growth firms, and Multinational Companies (MNCs). As Founder and CEO of Datacrunch Global, he provides AI Strategy Advisory to Multinational Companies, helping them innovate, improve profitability, and enhance decision-making.
He holds leadership roles in Korean academic societies and is a trusted advisor to global media, embassies, and multinational corporations, frequently speaking and consulting on technology, economics, and AI strategy.
He earned a Ph.D. in Management Engineering from KAIST and both an M.A. and a B.S. in Economics from the University of Missouri.
