Yusuke Ito

Biography

Professor Yusuke Ito is a graduate of the Department of Mathematics at Waseda University where he completed his undergraduate and graduate studies in 1983. He continued to pursue his education while also devoting his time to research activities involving partial differential equation theory. Professor Ito entered Salomon Brothers Asia Securities (presently Citigroup Securities) in 1989, and was engaged in financial markets for 10 years as the general manager of the stock department and also a derivatives trader. In 1999, he went on to work for a security firm, which was the predecessor organization of the existing Carillon Securities, where he was engaged in rebuilding the trading desk. Applying his unique career as an educator and trader, he became the CEO of Simplex Institute, Inc. in 2000.
