Jawad Syed

Biography

Professor Jawad Syed teaches organizational behavior and leadership as Professor at the Suleman Dawood School of Business at Lahore University of Management Sciences. Prior to LUMS, he worked as a Reader at the University of Kent, and as a Professor at the University of Huddersfield. He obtained a Ph.D. in Business from Macquarie University after receiving a Master of International Business from the Western Sydney University. Professor Syed holds positions in a number of associations including the European Academy of Management (EURAM), the Global Centre for Equality and Human Rights (GCEHR), and the South Asian Academy of Management (SAAM). In academic leadership roles, he has served as Dean of the Suleman Dawood School of Business, Head of People, Management and Organizations group (University of Kent), and Director of Talent, Diversity and Development Research Group (University of Huddersfield). Professor Syed has edited and authored eight books and written more than 81 journal articles and book chapters.
