Junko Motohashi

Biography
Professor Motohashi graduated from Ochanomizu University in 1990 and joined the SANNO Institute of Management. She was involved in the planning and development of learning programs for human resource development, addressing various issues ranging from management and leadership to innovation and diversity. She also established the Business Ethics Solutions Team and, as a project manager, provided consulting services to a wide range of industries, including manufacturing sectors such as steel and beverages, major retail groups, and infrastructure-related industries.
Her proposals primarily focused on fostering ethical thinking through case discussions and changing organizational culture. To explore these possibilities theoretically, she entered the Graduate School of Keio University. In 2021, she obtained her doctoral degree from Keio University. She became an Associate Professor at SANNO University and subsequently assumed her current position. Currently, Professor Motohashi is researching the relationship between integrity-oriented ethical management and meaningful work through an empirical approach informed by normative theory.
