Biography
Dr. Fred Ku is the Assistant Dean and Director of the Integrated BBA program of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Business School. He received a BBA and Ph.D. from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and joined the Department of Decision Sciences and Managerial Economics at CUHK Business School in 2009 where he is now a senior lecturer. Dr. Ku specializes in business economics and teaches courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics, managerial economics, and business statistics for a number of degree programs in Hong Kong and Japan. He has authored a book on economics, developed cases for economics textbooks, and written a number of teaching cases. Dr. Ku is a recipient of the CUHK Vice-Chancellor’s Exemplary Teaching Award and multiple teaching awards at CUHK Business School, and contributes to the professional community by conducting professional seminars and training workshops for the Hong Kong SAR Government. He also provides consultancy services for the Trade and Industry Department of the Hong Kong Government.
