Yuriko Sawatani

Biography

Prior to joining NUCB Business School as a full professor in 2018, Dr. Sawatani was engaged in research and development in information technology and the service industry at the IBM Research Laboratory. She went on to serve as a Fellow of the Service Science Program of the Japan Science and Technology Agency. Dr. Sawatani completed studies at the Graduate School of Decision Science and Technology at the Tokyo Institute University of Technology, and received a Ph.D. from the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at the University of Tokyo, and she is a member of the editorial board of INFORMS Service Science and the Information Processing Society of Japan.
