Shigetsune Yamoto

Professor

Biography

Prior to starting his academic career at NUCB Business School in 2011, Dr. Yamoto spent a number of years as a practitioner in the corporate world. He is an expert in corporate planning and new business development, and is also a professional consultant to IT businesses and manufacturing companies. He has been engaged in research activities at the Japan Society for Development Engineering where he serves as a Board Member, as well as serving as the Chair of the Business Innovation Study Group, and an editorial board member of the group’s journal. Dr. Yamoto received a Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Tokyo, and an MBA from Tsukuba University. He has been appointed as Research Advisor since 2014.
