Business Schools around the world with AACSB International accreditation rely on the strict quality standards and re-accreditation policies to maintain their badges of certification. During one the bonus session at the end of the current sessions on day one of the conference, Executive Vice President and Chief Accreditation Officer Stephanie M. Bryant and Former Dean and University Chair of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Antai College of Economics and Management opened up the future of AACSB Accreditation to participants. Although Deans and Directors usually have a hands-on role in the accreditation and re-accreditation process, this opportunity was an excellent chance to hear directly and unfiltered from the top executives of AACSB about the steps ahead for leveraging the AACSB certification to stand out among business schools in their region and around the world.
The AACSB International Asia Pacific Conference was held in Nagoya, Japan from Oct. 29 – 31 and was hosted at the NUCB Business School Nagoya Marunouchi Tower Campus. AACSB, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, is one of the three most respected and valued global accreditation bodies that signals the highest level of quality assurance to students, employers, and other business schools around the world. The NUCB Business School is only one of four schools in Japan with AACSB accreditation and the only one with AACSB and AMBA dual accreditation.
