Announcement of the Matriculation Ceremony and Implementation of online courses

NUCB Business School have taken the decision to cancel the Entrance Ceremony planned for 1st April 2020, in light of the impact of the outbreak of new coronavirus COVID-19, and also to carry out classes online from the start of the new semester.

In order to celebrate this important first step for all new students, it was planned for the former President of IMD Business School, Mr. Dominique Turpin, to be invited as a guest speaker, and an entrance ceremony held with a total of 1,033 people from 26 countries. We understand this may not meet expectations of a usual Entrance Ceremony, but the first priority is to create a safe and healthy learning environment in the new year.

For the new semester, it has been decided that graduate classes will be conducted online in a live, interactive format. Although postponing the start of semester was considered, we also understand our social responsibility as a higher education institution not to delay classes even in an uncertain climate.

This decision was reached knowing that the school already has accumulated knowledge through online case-method since 2018, and has previously considered the pros and cons of implementing online classes with overseas partner schools.

Please note, further information on classes for the new semester will be posted on the official website as soon as this is available.
