2026 JAAF Conference

Introduction

The Journal of Accounting, Auditing, and Finance (JAAF) is excited to announce the 2026 Conference, hosted by Nagoya University of Commerce & Business (NUCB) Business School, Nagoya, Japan from November 10 through 13, 2026. The JAAF Conference serves as a distinguished platform for scholars and practitioners worldwide to engage in insightful discussions on various dimensions of accounting, auditing, and finance. Alongside enriching academic discussions, the conference presents an opportunity for networking, professional development, and cultural immersion.


Call for Papers

Papers accepted for the Plenary Sessions will be considered for publication in the JAAF and will undergo a review process in accordance with JAAF policies. For the 2026 JAAF Conference, Professors C. S. Agnes Cheng and Linda Myers will serve as Editors for Plenary Session submissions. Final decisions regarding journal acceptance will be made in consultation with the JAAF Editor-in-Chief.

Venue


The 2026 JAAF Conference will be held at the Nagoya Marunouchi Tower Campus, the flagship campus of NUCB Business School. Completed in 2015, this dedicated graduate business school facility is designed specifically for case-method teaching, executive programs, and international conferences. The tower includes tiered auditoriums, executive seminar rooms, and a top-floor Theatre Hall used for major academic events.

From Chubu Centrair International Airport (NGO)

  • Meitetsu μ-SKY Airport Express: Approximately 30 minutes to Nagoya Station
  • Taxi: Approximately 50–60 minutes, depending on traffic

From Nagoya Station

  • Subway: Approximately 10 minutes to Marunouchi Station
  • Taxi: Approximately 10 minutes

Taxi and Ride-Hailing Services

Taxis are widely available throughout Nagoya, including at the airport, train stations, and major hotels.

Please note that Uber operates differently in Japan compared with many other countries. In Japan, Uber primarily connects passengers with licensed taxi services rather than private drivers using personal vehicles. Availability may vary depending on location and time.

Participants may also consider using local taxi-hailing applications, such as GO, which is one of the most commonly used taxi services in Japan.
