Strategic Corporate Finance

In this class, we will take up cases related to corporate finance of global companies such as Softbank and ASICS, and focus on how to utilize financial tools for business decision making. The course began with an understanding of the difference between accounting and finance, the basic concept of corporate finance and its role, and practical learning such as risk and return analysis through EXCEL exercises using financial market and financial data. In addition to the repetition of understanding and practicing theories, students develop the ability to formulate management strategies and carry out business activities by discussing the concept of cost of capital and the relationship between cost of capital and corporate value evaluation.
