The typical idea of an ‘MBA Education’ refers to the idea of learning and discussing ‘management skills’ through the case study method and practical application of standard business administration frameworks. This ‘left-side of the brain’ thinking involves developing structured organizational skills. On the other hand, fields like entrepreneurship, leadership, and marketing are based in the ‘right-side of the brain.’ Recent academic literature and practical effort has been increasingly given to utilizing the ‘innovative thinking’ that occurs on this half of the brain. Discovering the seeds of new business design, as well as sustainable growth, requires matching business innovation with creativity.
We have a wide variety of experiences in each lecture which provides new awareness so our livelihood is enriched on weekdays too.
Our MBA provides you with the skills to assess business situations and discover opportunities. It adds depth to your ability to analyze with creativity and a mutli-dimensional perspective. A key aspect of the BIP is the 'Innovation Project' which encompasses and employs all the methodology you learn in your first year of weekend courses.
Utilizing the weekend course structure at the NUCB Business School, all lectures are held on Saturdays and Sundays and each class is completed in four days over two weekends. This format allows you to make the most of your time; quickly implement the new skills that you acquire into your professional work, share your experience and results with your classmates and professors and finally sharpen those skills in the following weekend through the integration of academic learning with real-world business applications. This virtuous cycle is a unique strength of the part-time 'Weekend MBA'.
The Innovation Project is a seminar aimed at giving students a chance to analyze their study results and report on what they have learned through practice. It is the essence of combining academics with business world practicality. Over the course of the year, you will constantly have the chance to deploy the training in innovation you receive at NUCB Business School and reflect on those results back in the classroom. As part of the project, a real commercial theme is given as learning material, and you will practice applying innovation practices to products, services, marketing and the organization management in teams with your peers. The specific commercialization theme can be provided by industry (a collaborating company) or chosen by the students themselves.
I realized that one casual word has potential to evolve into an idea that has never been thought of before and make new connections.
We offer Full-time (EN) and Part-time (EN/JP) curriculum, and the three-step case and field methodology used at NUCB Business School works in tandem with the progressive curriculum of the MBA. As a student of the MBA program, you will improve your overall management skills with a bird's eye perspective of various business situations while simultaneously focusing in on eight essential fields of commerce and company organization. The unique curriculum yields innovative solutions that assist you in becoming a highly innovative entrepreneur. Through the rigorous study of numerous cutting-edge business cases, you will achieve the diverse skills and thought processes necessary to manage changing international business environments effectively.
The English MBA and Japanese MBA tracks are conducted on the Weekend-only delivery format. This delivery style allows part-time students to take courses with full-time students for enhanced learning encounters and sharing practical business experience in real-time. Full-time students are able to spend the weekdays preparing for courses, improving their Japanese language skills for launching a career in Japan or for experiencing the culture and society of Japan. The flexible nature of the program means that students can - and should - embark on a study abroad experience as part of their academic stretch at the NUCB Business School.
You can also create a network of connections that you would not be able to build anywhere else.
There are more than 10,000 management education programs in the world. International associations, such as AACSB International and AMBA, accredit business schools which meet their strict standards for the quality of education. In the international business community, only programs with international accreditation are considered “real MBA programs". The accreditation of our Global MBA ensures that the degree you earn at NUCB Business School is of the highest quality and consistently meets or exceeds the requirements of these prestigious associations. Regardless of where your career path takes you in the world, an MBA from an accredited university like NUCB Business School will be recognized and well-respected by employers and institutions worldwide.

This unique program provides an advanced experience of international education, and a unique qualification with which to further your career in the global business community.
Realistically, it is quite impossible for full-time employees to complete a traditional study abroad program. So, in 2005 we established the “Support for Off-campus Program” system in cooperation with Harvard Business School, MIT Sloan and IMD Business School. Program duration varies from 3 to 7 days which allows students to take enriching learning experiences with sacrificing work commitments. Participants enjoy established scholarship benefits and recognition of the training as course units at our school.
