The Story of Australian History

Kamada Mayumi

This book is a compact summary of the white colonization and indigenous rule, and the transition and turmoil from white Australian policy to multiculturalism, from the time of indigenous peoples with a scanty historical record. This is an introductory book on the country's history that highlights a special national image that is not biased towards Aboriginal or white people. How was Australia today formed? Considering the political factors in particular, discussions will proceed based on various materials such as old books, diary entries, newspapers, parliamentary reports, and biographies.

The anecdotes and chronological items at the end of this book have a scent of life that many Australians sympathize with. A famous and unknown Australian is vividly depicted as a historical entity.
