Out of the Galapagos and into the real world: do overseas programs contribute to broadening Japanese students’ world view?

Annually, more than 100,000 Japanese university graduates are expected to demonstrate their growth as global citizens. It is important to assess the overseas programs offered in Japanese universities in terms of their effectiveness in improving students’ perception of themselves, their country and other countries and people.
