Higashiyama International House

A world-expanding education and research network

Our school accepts students from overseas partner schools at the Higashiyama International House residence, also known as International Center for Education and Research, with 44 private rooms equipped with furniture and home appliances. In addition to living spaces such as guest rooms and dining rooms, seminar rooms and libraries have been set up to enable various research and exchanges within the center. With the establishment of this Center, we plan to enhance the learning environment and accept as many as 120 students from partner schools annually.

Providing a convenient environment for commuting to school and living

Chikusa Ward, where the International Education and Research Center is located, has a commercial area and a residential area centered on Imaike, one of the downtown areas of Nagoya. The nearest stations are Higashiyama Koen on the Higashiyama Subway Line and Nagoya University on the Meijo Line, which offer convenient transport links to Nagoya Campus "Marunouchi Tower" graduate school, and the Nisshin Campus undergraduate school. In addition, the 44 rooms of private accommodation are equipped with bathrooms and washing facilities, furniture including desks, chairs, bookshelves, beds and closets, as well as facilities and other items necessary for daily life such as air conditioners and refrigerators.
