NUCB Business School and AAPBS are excited to host an immersive Case Teaching Workshop designed to enhance your pedagogical skills and bring real-world scenarios into your classroom. This workshop will equip educators with advanced strategies for effective case-based instruction, fostering critical thinking and active learning among students.
Led by expert practitioners, our interactive sessions will cover:
• Best practices for selecting and preparing compelling case materials.
• Techniques for facilitating dynamic and inclusive class discussions.
• Methods for assessing student performance in case study analyses.

Prof. Shinichi Takeuchi
Prior to pursuing a career in academia, Dr. Takeuchi was actively engaged in business administration and human resource development at Mazda Motor Corporation. He has extensive achievements in the organizational implementation of the case method in both academic and business settings.
He joined NUCB Business School as a full professor in April 2018 and was appointed as the Director of the Case Center Japan in September 2019. Dr. Takeuchi is also the founder and representative director of Case Method Laboratory, Inc. which specializes in capacity development through the case method, and has published a number of books, academic publications, and articles on case method education.

Prof. Ricardo Lim
Dr. Lim served as AACSB mentor and team member on accreditation reviews for Japanese, Taiwanese, and New Zealand business schools. He was Dean of the Asian Institute of Management and President of the AAPBS, a consortium of 60 Asia-Pacific business schools, Chair of the Philippine Academy of Management, and an academic board member of the Global Business School Network, GBSN, in Washington, D.C.
Before academe, Dr. Lim was a consultant for the Siemens-Nixdorf Computer Company in Manila, and the Computer Sciences Corporation in Boston. He currently consults for education and retail companies.

Prof. M. Mohsin Hakeem
Dr. Hakeem obtained his Ph.D. in Management from the Graduate School of Economics and Management at Tohoku University, Japan. Prior to joining NUCB Business School, he served as a JSPS fellow at the same institution. In pursuit of professional development, he attended training programs at Harvard Business School and The Wharton School.
With extensive experience in Investment Management, Financial Consultancy, Education, and Training, he has contributed his expertise to various organizations. His research interests encompass a broad spectrum, including Regional Sustainability, International Business, Strategic Management, and Network Science.

Prof. Hitesh Shukla
Professor Hitesh Shukla is an academic and shaper of the family business field. For decades, his insights, advice, lectures and writing have helped to develop leaders, professionalize businesses, strengthen families, and pass sustainable enterprises from one generation to the next.
He advises families on topics such as long-term success; ownership, and family governance; developing next-generation; succession transitions; conflict resolution and family harmony; ownership and business strategy; professionalizing the family business and life and career planning; selling the family business, and many other issues important to family enterprises.
Participation Fees
General Admission: JPY 95,000
AAPBS Member School: JPY 80,000
Both rates include meal fees for lunch and dinner services on the 17th and the 18th.
