About international accreditation

#Global MBA #International Accreditation

International accreditation organizations check, from a third party's perspective, whether degree-granting educational institutions, including MBA schools, meet the education and research functions required to operate as business schools at an international level. They are a necessary and important part of measuring the effectiveness of a business school's programs.

Why international accreditation matters

  1. Strict checks on teaching/research quality
  2. Maintaining objectivity in measuring strengths and weaknesses
  3. Adhering to uniform standards

Why some schools are not accredited

  1. International accreditation is not a legal requirement
  2. Institutions want to determine their own path
  3. International recognition is less of a priority at certain business schools
  4. Institutions do not meet the strict standards of the most prestigious accrediting bodies
