Flying Inventory Startup Business Plan 2021

Abstract

The proposed case describes the situation of an engineer and MBA candidate who, having developed and scientifically validated an innovative technology based on flying drones “Flying inventory”, needs to draw up a business plan for a startup that will commercialize this technology. Warehouse inventory is an indispensable operation for keeping track of the materials present in a warehouse in a reference time. The technical issues related to this platform (indoor navigation, limited drone battery) have been investigated in a peer-reviewed paper published with the University of Bologna in 2020.
