Biography
Nobuhiko Hibara is Associate Professor of Finance at the Waseda Business School of Waseda University. Previously, he was Associate Professor of Finance at the Edwards School of Business, University of Saskatchewan, Canada and at the School of Business, Ritsumeikan University, Kyoto, and worked with the World Bank, RIETI, and the Bank of Tokyo. He earned a Ph.D. and an M.A. in Economics from Columbia University, and a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Tokyo. His areas of interest are in financial intermediation, venture capital, and financing of innovation. He is Director of the Center on Finance and Innovation at Waseda University and Inamori AILA.
