Final day of the "Innovation Program" in collaboration with Aichi Prefecture and INSEAD

On Friday 26th March 2021, the “Innovation Program” in collaboration with Aichi Prefecture, INSEAD (France) and NUCB Business School was completed, with final presentations and the certificate ceremony held at NUCB BS Marunouchi Tower campus, Nagoya.

The Aichi Prefectural Governor Mr. Omura Hideaki was the chief guest of the closing presentation ceremony joined by NUCB Business School Chancellor Dr. Hiroyuki Kurimoto.

The participants selected contributed to the planning of the INSEAD Innovation Program for implementation from the start of November last year, with an aim to develop the human resources necessary to start up new business. This program, devised by Aichi Prefecture as part of the Aichi-Startup Strategy, had been implemented as part of the pioneering efforts of Aichi Prefecture in cooperation with overseas universities and graduate schools to support the development of new businesses in the region.

On the final day of the “Innovation Program” the participants presented their final presentations in various groups, which were evaluated by INSEAD and NUCB BS faculty members as panel judges. Along with utilizing our network to support the recruitment of participants, NUCB Business School professors were also mentoring participants engaged in the creation of new businesses through training courses.

The participants were challenged with start-up related project work to utilize what they have learned in the seminars. Both NUCB BS and INSEAD offered support as they carried out their projects.
