Celebrating the Commencement of Our 2022 Academic Year

The NUCB Business School held a grand entrance ceremony for new enrolling students and newly arrived international exchange students on April 1 at the Nisshin Campus, where the cherry blossoms were in full bloom. The number of new students enrolling in April 2022 was 148, bringing the total enrollment to 588 as of April 1. Afterward, a welcome party for international students was held.

Throughout the month of March, over 70 international students submitted applications to enter Japan through the newly announced Entrants, Returnees Follow-Up System. By April, over a dozen had already entered Japan and were able to join the ceremony.

All were greeted by Chancellor Hiroyuki Kurimoto, who spoke about the history of the school and the importance of its purpose before introducing Mr. Masatoshi Nagasaki, President of Space BD Corporation, the special guest of honor.

The welcoming party that followed brought international students new to Japan and faculty members together for a bountiful luncheon and rich conversation. Our warm reception breathed Frontier Spirit into the hearts of students excited for the start of a new semester.
