The IMD Family Business Course in Japan was first held in Tokyo in 2019, with plans to return each following year stymied by Covid-era border closures. This year marks the return of the IMD program for families leading enterprises in Japan, and we are proud to be hosting IMD faculty and program participants representing as many as three generations of family business management.
Entitled "Leading the Family Business," the 3-day version of the 5-day course offered in Switzerland will be led by Professor Peter Vogel, Director of the IMD Family Business Center, who brings to our Nagoya campus a family business program that has continued at IMD for almost 30 years, attracting participants from around the world.
For these three days, our school will welcome like-minded managers of family businesses who come together to face common challenges, such as wealth management, governance, succession, and strategy, shaping their solutions with valuable counsel from world-renowned experts.
