Shaping Data-Driven Leaders: Our New MSBA Program Launches
This fall marks an exciting milestone at NUCB Business School with the launch of the new Master of Science in Business Analytics & Artificial Intelligence (MSBA) program. The MSBA now joins our Master of Science in Management (MiM) as one of two weekday-taught programs for international students, designed to equip future leaders with the skills to harness data and artificial intelligence for strategic decision-making — bridging the gap between technical insight and business acumen.
The inaugural cohort has already completed several foundational courses central to the curriculum. In Competing in the Age of AI, Professor Ricardo Lim explored how organizations can leverage digitalization and AI for competitive advantage. Python Programming with Professor Jerome Locson introduced students to the essential tools of coding and data manipulation, while Data Science for Managers, led by Professor Minjeong Ham, focused on applying analytics to managerial decision-making.
Alongside the new MSBA program, students in the Consumer Behavior course from the MiM program—taught by Professor Gyung Yeol Yang—examined the latest trends in digital marketing and behavioral economics, uncovering how brands engage modern consumers in an evolving marketplace.
