Georgetown MBA Students Visit Nagoya for Aerospace Industry Dialogue
NEW
We welcomed a group of MBA students from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business to our Nagoya campus as part of their Global Business Experience (GBE) project with Boeing.
Georgetown has been one of our partner institutions since 2024.
The team of young professionals visited Japan to explore how aerospace companies engage with universities and engineering talent. During their visit, they met with Toshio Ono of Boeing and Hiroyuki Tanaka of the Green Investment Promotion Organization (formerly of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries), who shared valuable insights on Japan’s aerospace industry and the development of engineering talent. Mr. Tanaka, a Nagoya campus Executive MBA candidate set to graduate later this month, was instrumental in bringing this meeting together.
The Nagoya region has strong ties to Japan’s aerospace sector, making it a meaningful setting for discussions on industry–academia collaboration. We are grateful to the Georgetown team for the visit and to Mr. Ono and Mr. Tanaka for contributing to such an engaging conversation.
