CDM Training Program Continues with 5th Cohort Under Egypt–Japan Education Partnership
In May, NUCB Business School welcomed the fifth cohort of participants from Egypt’s Central Department of Missions (CDM) under the Egypt–Japan Education Partnership (EJEP). This marks the second cohort hosted within the past year as part of an ongoing program focused on strengthening educational leadership and institutional capacity through engagement with Japanese higher education and society.
Participants took part in academic sessions led by NUCB Business School faculty, including Prof. Yuko Yamamoto, Prof. Hiroshi Ito, Prof. Yuri Ichikawa, Prof. Jun Kudo, and Prof. Yuichi Kondo, with facilitation by Dean for External Relations Prof. Kenji Yokoyama. Sessions focused on Japanese education systems, governance, and the role of education in society.
The program also included visits to Asahigaoka High School, the Aichi Prefectural Board of Education, the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology, and the Noritake Museum, offering perspectives on Japan’s education system, public administration, and industry-linked learning.
Through academic input, site visits, and structured reflection sessions, participants examined approaches to education policy and institutional practice in Japan, connecting these insights to their own administrative contexts.
The program reflects ongoing cooperation between Japan and Egypt in developing educational leadership capacity through practical, management-focused training.
