Growth and New Perspectives Across Our MSc Programs as Fall 2026 Gets Underway
The Fall 2026 semester is underway at NUCB Business School, bringing new energy to our weekday MSc programs. As students return to campus and new classmates join the community, the opening weeks are filled with case discussions, debates, and group work. Across the classrooms, students are already exchanging perspectives and tackling the business challenges that will shape their development as future managers and leaders.
MSBA Enters Its Second Year
Launched in Fall 2025, the MSc in Business Analytics & AI (MSBA) has tripled its cohort size in just one year. September also marked an important milestone, as the program’s first graduate earned the degree through the inbound Double Degree Program.
The Fall 2026 curriculum builds on this momentum with new courses that connect analytical expertise with broader management challenges. AI-Accelerated Leadership Development, taught by Professor Sookyoung Lee, examines how data-driven systems influence managerial judgment, organizational design, and accountability. Meanwhile, Professor Arto Lindblom’s Designing the Future of Retail Business explores evolving retail strategies, customer experience, omnichannel business models, and the role of AI and big data in the industry.
The curriculum also features Innovation by AI & Big Data, Professor Giulio Toscani’s course previously titled Design Thinking for Big Data & AI. Together, these offerings broaden the program’s focus, preparing students to consider not only what technology can do, but how businesses can use it to make better decisions and create value.
MiM Ranked #1 in Japan, #1 in Asia for ROI (QS 2027)
The Master in Management (MiM) program begins the semester with another notable achievement: #1 in Japan and #1 in Asia for Return on Investment in the QS Business Master's Rankings 2027. The recognition highlights the value of a graduate management education, reflecting the importance of outcomes beyond the classroom. For students investing in their future, the MiM combines a rigorous, case-based learning experience with opportunities to develop the analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and global perspective needed to advance their careers.
As classes get underway, students in both programs are putting ideas to the test, learning from their peers, and developing the skills to navigate complex business environments. Explore our latest class reports for a closer look at the learning taking place in the classroom.
