Campus visit: St. Gallen Symposium Information Event 22 November 2019
The St. Gallen Symposium is the world’s leading initiative for intergenerational debates on economic, political, and social developments, fostering fruitful discourses as a student-run initiative combining excellence with innovative ideas since 1969. The 50th St. Gallen Symposium, which will take place in May 2020 in St. Gallen, Switzerland, will be upon the theme of “Freedom Revisited”.
The Symposium invites NUCB Business School students to enter the Global Essay Competition, and winning entrants will be invited to the 2020 Symposium as a “Leader of Tomorrow” on an all-expenses-paid trip.
Further details can be found on their website
On Friday 22nd November, students at Marunouchi Campus attended a presentation by Mr. Dennis-Takuya Strotbek from the organizing committee, giving an overview of the Symposium and the Global Essay Competition. Students commented that the intriguing theme, along with Mr. Strotbek’s insight and inspiring videos from last year’s symposium left them motivated to take the challenge!
We hope that representatives from NUCB Business School will be heading to St. Gallen next spring!
