Online class and lunch break with Professor Dan

#MBA #MIM #Japan #Nagoya

Today during the lunch break on the last day of his Behavioral Economics course, Professor Dan Qin grabbed his tablet device and invited students to leave their cameras on to enjoy and share some time with him outside of lecture.

Students asked questions about the professor, and vice versa; the conversation progressed from student life and academic and work background to more personal topics, such as countries visited in his travels and reasons for coming to Japan.

Relationships grow from conversations about life experiences and lighter and more casual interactions outside of class. Even while observing social distancing guidelines, it is important to create opportunities for students to have these types of experiences.
