University of Chile - Facultad de Economia y Negocios

The University of Chile was founded in 1842 and is the oldest and most prestigious university in the country. It is furthermore recognized as one of the best universities in Latin America for leadership and innovation in science, technology and social sciences. The Faculty of Economics and Business (Facultad de Economia y Negocios) was created in 1934 and the first Dean would later become the President of Chile, Pedro Aguirre Cerda.
