Jyväskylä University School of Business and Economics
The University of Jyväskylä was founded in 1863 as the first Finnish-speaking teacher training college in Finland. The Jyväskylä University School of Business and Economics (JSBE) was established in 1967 and became an independent faculty of the university in 1998. Today, JSBE is known for its interdisciplinary approach, combining economics, business, and corporate responsibility with strong ties to Finland's social and environmental context.
JSBE emphasizes responsible leadership and sustainable business practices. It offers programs in entrepreneurship, digital business, and economic policy, and is especially active in research on sustainable development and business ethics. In 2018, JSBE was awarded AACSB accreditation, making it one of the few Finnish institutions to hold international recognition for business education.
