For more than a century, Wilfred Laurier University has been known for academic excellence. Wilfred Laurier University traces its roots to the opening of the Evangelical Lutheran Seminary in Waterloo in 1911. The university is named for Canada’s seventh prime minister, Wilfred Laurier. There are 4 campuses in Ontario, Canada located in the cities of Waterloo, Kitchener, Brantford, and Toronto, and one overseas campus in China. Students are able to choose their major from one of nine faculties. Graduates acquire the knowledge and expertise necessary to succeed in modern society.
